Supplier Sourcing
We select suppliers by a proven three-stage process designed to meet your needs. At first, to ensure continuity of supply, we use 100% of your current suppliers. Comensura will next introduce you to "best of breed" suppliers who already supply through our programmes. Ongoing supplier recruitment then allows any UK supplier to apply to become a Comensura Panel Supplier. We carefully vet their performance to ensure you receive a high level of service.

We are proud of the way we manage your suppliers. We manage and rate your suppliers’ performance, checking they meet your criteria so you get the service you need.
We understand the importance of knowing who is top in terms of quality, pricing, efficiency and effectiveness. Our software platform, C.net can give you regular feedback showing which suppliers are performing best on the criteria most important to you, and provides you with essential forecasting tools.
Our proven systems encourage suppliers to perform consistently well for you, and include:
- Supplier tiers - A structured system, effectively a ‘league table’ which incentivises suppliers to perform well. Promoting and relegating suppliers based on their performance means they continually strive to give great service
- Balanced scorecard – Our ‘balanced scorecard’ uses C.net to tier suppliers objectively, by their performance. It rates suppliers according to your goals and objectives, and takes into account criteria such as price and quality
- Supplier audit - Comensura audits all suppliers quarterly to ensure that they comply with contract requirements. If they cannot prove compliance, we protect you by removing them from the tiering system
